Happy new year! 

Final Preparations are underway for the projected go live date of the 1^st of February 2010.  Equipment and offers of support contiue to arrive at WUKSART HQ.  I would like to take this oppertunity to thank all those who have supported WUKSART over the difficult last few months and wish you all succes in the new year. 

19^th December 2009

WUKSART sent eight team members to RAF Valley for a basic ground familiarisation on thier Sea King Search and Rescue Helicopters.  The team also recieved an informative presentation on the capabilities and limitations of the Sea King. 

24^th November 2009

The WUKSART Public Water rescue Forums are now online.  We are hoping that these forums will become a central place for water rescue professionals from all over the country to pool and share their combined experience. 

12^th November 2009

Donations are beginning to arrive at WUKSART.  Thank you for your generosity.  All donations of equipment of funds will all go to help save live in the East Midlands and beyond. 

15^th October 2009

Watersafe UK Search and rescue Team is projected to go fully operational on the 1^st of Febuary 2010. 

13^th October 2009

Response Vehicle kindly donated to WUKSART.  The vehicle is a Mercedes Vito van and is ideal for a first response vehicle.  The van will now be re-sprayed into team colours and sign written.  Skilled team members will fit out the interior of the van to enable equipment to be carried safely.
