Watersafe UK Search and Rescue Team (WUKSART)
is a voluntary search and rescue organisation operating within the Derbyshire and the East Midlands area. Our Purpose is to provide response and back up personnel to the Emergency Services in a range of situations, including in particular;
o Searches for Missing Persons and Swift Water Rescue
o Support and Water Safety Cover at public and private events
o Assist the emergency services in times of natural disaster or civil emergency.
We will be able to take the lead or provide support at incidents as required. We respond nationally to flood rescue and search calls as well as emergency swift water rescue and flooding incidents within the East Midlands.
Our team members have over 136 Years cumulative experience in the Fire and Rescue Service and more than 70 Years in Hospital and pre-Hospital medical care. Along with skills in searching, swift water rescue, still water rescue and flood rescue, rope rescue and medical care WUKSART delivers a fast, dynamic and professional team.
